A native of New Orleans, Dr. Samantha Parker Lane graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a degree in biomedical sciences and went on to earn her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She completed her neurosurgical residency at UTHealth Houston at Memorial Hermann- Texas Medical Center, where she was chief resident. She was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
Her experience spans both spine and cranial neurosurgery, including cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine pathology, peripheral nerve conditions, hydrocephalus, Chiari malformations and trauma. She treats patients 16 and older. She offers minimally invasive techniques and robotics in spine surgery to her Sugar Land area patients.
Dr. Parker’s practice philosophy centers on a team approach and treating every patient like a member of her family and helps patients connect with the best-suited physician for their particular condition.

Dr. Parker is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Texas Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Council of State Neurosurgical Societies. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Dr. Parker is the coauthor of peer-reviewed publications and is actively involved in community service.
She and her husband, who is a pilot, enjoy cooking, travel and ocean activities such as scuba diving, fishing and kite surfing.
