My daughter has freckles. Light though they may be, they are a symbol of our indelible connection. Not so common among African Americans, they create a special bond between her and me. Most of us enjoy the ways our children take after us. It gives us a sense of hope for the future, and maybe even a small sense of immortality. This connection to our children is one we hold in tension. They are like us, yet fully and truly their own. They have their own being, their own vision, and their own calling to fulfill. If we’re smart, we’ll accept that early and focus on preparing them to soar. It’s what we want for them, right? To come into their own being, to walk out their vision, and to fulfill their God-given calling. It will be the place of their greatest joy. I am grateful to the One who forms us and calls us into a rich vision for our lives. He does it for us but, more importantly, He does it for our beloved mini-mes. When we follow Him, He provides for this generational blessing of fruitfulness and joy. #grateful #thegratefullife #lifetothefullest #freckles #Generationalblessing

Chief Of Staff at The Citadel Global Community Church (previously known as The Latter Rain Assembly)
In the journey of faith, none of us is meant to walk alone. The Scripture is filled with examples of believers supporting one another. Think of Moses during the battle against the Amalekites. As he held up his hands, Israel prevailed, but whenever he lowered them, the Amalekites gained the upper hand. Aaron and Hur came alongside him, one on one side, one on the other, and supported his hands. Their support was crucial for the victory that day (Exodus 17:12). Similarly, when Paul, formerly Saul, was a new convert, many were wary of him due to his past persecution of Christians. Yet, it was Barnabas who stood by him, vouched for him, and introduced him to the other apostles, facilitating his ministry which goes on to change the world (Acts 9:27). Consider a time when someone stood by you in a moment of need—how did that support make you feel? Loved, valued, less alone? This is the power of support that we can extend to others. Giving support is not always easy. It can be emotionally taxing, and there are times we might feel overwhelmed. This is where we need to practice wisdom and self-care, ensuring that while we help others, we are not neglecting our own needs. Trust me Love will take all of you, especially when you have to support someone who feels entitled to your support. 😭😂 When that time comes, looking beyond the person despite all will be Love finding expression in you! Two Days Bring Hope! So, what are the most important days in history? You could say it was the day you were born because you would not be here if it did not happen. However, I am not talking about your individual history. But what are the most important days in history that affects us all? I think there are two days that certainly rank as the two most important days. At least they are two of the top five. Let us look and see how these two days might bring us hope at. https://lnkd.in/gQqiuA2M #christianliving, #deliverence, #God, #grace, #hope, #Jesus, #justice, #Love, #mentalhealth, #mercy, #promise, #prophecy, #salvation, #suicide, #suicidesurvivor, #truth

Motivational Keynote Speaker | Author | Global life coach | 38+ years experience empowering thousands to transform their lives, health, and mindset.
I was born and raised in the Catholic Church from my early years. I spent many Sundays ringing the bell on the altar as a young altar boy. I especially loved Easter as we got to wear the red tunic over the traditional black. (Not to mention the Easter egg hunts) I must admit that forces in my early childhood led me to question many things about the state of religion. These are not things I wish to express here, suffice to say, I was left with a bad taste in my mouth and found myself by age 14 drifting away… Therefore, I turned more into a person of spiritual beliefs, one who resonated with God as the creator of this world without the rituals of sitting, standing, kneeling, etc. Nevertheless, I still believe in the same foundational aspects in my heart. For me, Easter holds a profound significance beyond religious boundaries, symbolizing themes of rebirth, renewal, and hope. It serves as a reminder of the transformative power of compassion, forgiveness, and love. Irrespective of religious beliefs, this day offers an opportunity to extend kindness and empathy towards all, including friends and even foes. By embracing the spirit of Easter, I believe we can all exemplify the beauty of reconciliation, understanding, and human connection. Choosing to show love and care to both allies and adversaries not only fosters personal growth but also contributes to building a more compassionate and harmonious world for everyone to thrive in. In today's world, we are in dire need of more of this, especially when dark evil forces are evident and working overtime to overthrow the inherent goodness within us all. Let your light shine, and HAPPY EASTER. #EasterReflections #RebirthAndRenewal #SpiritualBeliefs #CompassionAndForgiveness #HumanConnection #UnityInLove #KindnessMatters #EmbracingDifferences #SpreadLove #HappyEaster @highlight

Posted @withregram • @astp_photography 🎉📸 ⚫️Birthday Celebration Recap⚫️📸🎈 Pictures by Darryl Morrow Photography 📸🖤The Underdog Story😮💨 Looking back on my past and knowing that I literally came from nothing, I understand that it’s typical most people in the black diaspora miss the opportunity to celebrate their 40th birthday’s while others fail to see the significance of it. After six whole years of grit and sacrifice, I made it my business to overcome whatever obstacles I’ve faced along the way and although the journey wasn’t easy, it was perfect, for me. The year of 40 for me is about having dominion. Dominion is taking all things I’ve ever experienced and making it work for me, AND moving forward, it’s about ownership. (Mental, Spiritual, Tangible)🌎 I share this to say this again, it’s never too late to start over. Do it for yourself and everything else will follow🥂 ✨ P.S. The self worth that’s missing may be present because you may not have something big enough to fight for and protect.😮💨 Just Start Already! Join coaching groups, get a mentor, and read / audiobooks! Here are a few symbolic examples I could find about the number 40: 1️⃣ In Christianity, the number 40 symbolizes periods of testing, purification, preparation, and growth. 2️⃣ Islam reveres the number 40, emphasizing its importance in moral and spiritual development. 3️⃣ Universal Laws, would state that the number 40 represents transformation, trial, and renewal, making it a universal symbol that transcends boundaries. In summary, the recurring presence of 40 in historical narratives and sacred texts underscores its profound impact on human consciousness and spiritual journeys. So take what you can and start! Thats all it takes…🧠 🥂Cheers to 40🥂 Creating great memories🟢💡 @highlight #happybirthday #cheers #fourty

President Sikeston Missouri American Slaves, Inc. National executive council. media, marketing, entertainment,, chairman.
American slaves can pretend we are African Americans, but descendants of American slaves can't "go back to Africa." American slaves were never in Africa. While the warm bodies that were captured and forced to carry the seeds that gave American slaves' their start in the human race may well have come from Africa, we must keep in mind that those captured African seeds were mixed with other culture's seeds even before they arrived in America. When multi-hued, multicultural seeds were sold to slave breeders, they were no longer African seeds When America purchased those seeds, the seeds belonged to America. When multi-hued, multicultural seeds were planted into the belly of America, they couldn't reproduce Africans, because they were no longer African seeds. Those seeds belonged to the captors to do with at they chose. In this case, America chose to breed slaves. It is the same as when America "captured" the land from the Indians. After the land that is now called America was captured, it no longer belonged to Native Americans. the land belonged to white America. To Learn More Read: 400 Years Of Slavery www.Slaves-USA.com

★ ☆✞MONDAY THOUGHTS ☆ ✞ ★ 1.Ask God to give you kindness, a tender heart, and a forgiving spirit! You do this and you become a blessing to others around you. 2.Following Christ has two requirements: believing Him and obeying Him. As believers in Jesus, we need to follow Him faithfully every day. It’s never right to take a time-out from our commitment to Him. 3.If you have been making excuses for why you are not experiencing an abundant and joyful life, determine today to settle for nothing less than God's best for your life. Stop following the world's way of finding satisfaction and listen to God's voice and you will find true fullfillment! 4.Unconditional love means I will continue to fall more deeply in love regardless of the response. Unconditional love has been demonstrated perfectly for us. His name is Jesus. 5.Drama does not just walk into your life. Either you create it, invite it or associate with it! Just saying! 6. As a coach, the two most valuable things you have in your possession is “ NO” and the bench! 7. You shouldn't do right once in a while; you should do right all the time! Doing the right thing is a habit and a good one at that! The key to changing your life will be when you find fulfillment and meaning in service to others and making a difference in people's lives! 8.When it is time to go, be gone. Stop convincing yourself to stay in unwanted environments. 9.One of the most valuable gift in life is a loyal friend. 10. Yes Black Lives matters but the rioting and looting isn’t about that but an agenda the left has for America. I think the riots and destruction of property around our country is wrong and is just an excuse to push a political agenda, so I'm labeled a racist. If they honestly Believe Black Lives Matter like I do then why won’t they clean up the ghettos, improve the school systems and teach them black on black crimes are as much as the problem as anything we see! Where’s the trouble coming from? Democratic lead cities. If they know so much then why can’t they fix it? I believe our system guarantees freedom of effort - not freedom of outcome or subsidies. I believe in a strong defense and protection of America for and by all citizens. I am proud of our flag, what it stands for and the many who died to let it fly, so I stand and salute during our National Anthem. I support our police and agree changes need to be made. We need to get back to working on loving our brothers and sisters C’MON!God is reαdy to chαnge your story! Stay fired up for the Lord! Shine the light, be the light. Smile, keep it on the sunny side and go make a difference because this little light of mine, I'm going let it shine...

Saturday, 22nd June 2024: WE SERIOUSLY NEED TO BE MORE PROACTIVE ABOUT HELPING THE LESS PRIVILEGED! The passage, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me’ (Matthew 25:45 NKJV), reminds those of us who, because we have worked hard for what we have, tend to think we are entitled to only think of and provide for themselves that, if more people were like Thomas Barnardo who involved himself in the lives of the poor and homeless, built Homes that housed hundreds of homeless children, Centres for evangelistic and religious activities, and in the end, became one of the great Christian heroes of the 1800s, the world would be a much better place. In other words, we seriously need to be more proactive about helping the less privileged. So let the knowledge that: 1) One day, we will be held accountable for how we treated those around us who were hurting or in need; 2) In cases where innocent children are being maltreated, rather than turn away, we should take drastic measures to rescue them; and 3) In the end, the Lord Almighty, who sees all our good deeds, we reward us abundantly; teach you, if you really want to change the world, to start reaching out, touching lives and adding value!FG.
