Founder & CEO @ Curelo (4th Accidental innovative Gig)| Surgeon turned Serial Entrepreneur| Founder-Unity Multispeciality Hospitals | Founder- Optimum Pathlabs- Working towards making Quality Healthcare services.
No. 1 Reason Patients Struggle with Healthcare Service Providers. Lack of trust/credibility. This makes them focus on unverified information (online sources or myths) They find it hard to trust their healthcare professionals. This leads to : - Difficulty making informed decisions - Skepticism towards treatment plans - Increased anxiety and confusion The result? Poorer health outcomes. What you can do as a healthcare service provider is : Prioritize building credibility by: - Staying up-to-date on research - Communicating clearly - Demonstrating genuine concern Empower patients by: - Encouraging open communication - Providing access to evidence-based information - Supporting active participation in care Stop making them worry about your services. Start building a strong, trusting relationship with your patient by building credibility.

Let’s start healing ourselves in healthcare to transform healthcare so that patients can heal and transform their lives #healthequity #patientadvocacy #traumainformed #patientsafety #activist #empathy #compassion #love
There is a direct link between #patientsafety & #workforcesafety in #healthcare. As a #caregiver turned #pharmacist, I can clearly see this. I was surprised many #patientadvocates would shun someone like me, when I bring up the connectedness. Do you know why? Here is what I think. Many advocates have been traumatized by healthcare. That includes healthcare professionals. This new narrative doesn’t add up to the stories they have been telling themselves and others. We have tendencies to want to be safe by protecting that identity. Sooner we realize the connectedness, better progress we can make sooner. If you haven’t been open to the idea, ask why? What are you afraid of? Looking forward to this #webinar. Tune into Gist Healthcare Daily: HHS proposes new penalties for providers that engage in information blocking The Department of Health and Human Services released a set of three proposed monetary penalties for healthcare providers–both organizations and physicians–that engage in so-called information blocking. That practice interferes with, prevents, or discourages access, exchange, or use of electronic health information. It was banned in 2016’s 21st Century Cures Act. Today, Micky Tripathi, head of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC), joins the podcast to talk more about what information blocking looks like among healthcare providers and what the proposed penalties aim to do. https://lnkd.in/ecvhNHss

With the deadline fast approaching, both sides were under significant pressure to reach a resolution that would affect thousands of patients. This new multi-year agreement guarantees continued access to critical services for many, but the negotiation process highlighted the delicate balance between financial considerations and ensuring patient care remains the top priority. Key insights included: ▪ Compliance’s Role: How clear guidelines helped both sides navigate complex terms. ▪ Minimizing Disruptions: Strategies for maintaining service continuity during high-stakes negotiations. ▪ Future Implications: Changes to Medicare Advantage and myBlue plans and what members can expect moving forward. 🚨 Missed this session?
