If you know our President and CEO, Jennifer Tavares, CEcD, then you know it's almost impossible to surprise her. However, we endeavored to do so after this morning's chamber board meeting. Staff, board members, and community friends came together to celebrate this incredible woman and her many years of service to Tompkins County. Among the gifts and cards and smiling faces was the debut of Jennifer's Closet; a long-time dream of hers brought to fruition. Jennifer's Closet offers free, gently used professional clothing to those in need of just the right piece for work, interviews, and networking events. It is accessible to the public at Tompkins Chamber during business hours. Thank you for over ten years of service to the Tompkins County community, Jennifer! Your tenure has brought several amazing projects to our area. Your legacy will live on in Jennifer's Closet and so many other programs here at the Chamber. We wish you continued success at Cornell.
