Service in Unity was an invaluable addition to our Apple Harvest Festival crew. Everyone on their team worked hard to make sure the Festival was safe, clean, and enjoyable for all. We truly could not have done it without them! If you are in need of temporary or permanent hires, please contact Service in Unity! Everyone deserves a chance to work, provide for themselves, and participate in their own recovery!
Thank You to #downtownithaca! Service in Unity was employed to provide ambassadors for the 43rd annual Apple Harvest Festival and brought a crew of five people in all different forms of recovery. Nan Rohrer, Corrie Root, and Chad Smith made the SIU crew feel a part of the team and a part of the Apple Harvest Festival's success. For some of the crew, this was their first time working in their recovery. The crew being valued for their work with the absence of shame and stigma is what Service in Unity is all about. Thank you for demonstrating how partnering in Unity we can create a Win-Win-Win scenario that benefits our entire Tompkins County community.
