Celebrating the opening of the new Central MA Veterans Support Center! This facility will ensure that veterans through Central MA have access to essential services like food, clothing, and comfort care. A special thanks to Senator Mike Moore for the invitation, and to Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll and Congressman Jim McGovern for their continued dedication to serving veterans with honor and compassion.

Featuring trainings, tabling, networking opportunities with top MA veteran providers, and engaging presentations, we are honored to work alongside our VSOs daily to deliver the best possible services to veterans across Massachusetts.

It was an honor to attend the second annual Tribal and Indigenous Health Summit. From his experience providing medical care in Navajo Nation to his role at EOVS, Secretary Santiago is committed to advancing health equity for Indigenous peoples. EOVS will continue working on veterans’ equity in partnership with DPH, recognizing the unique contributions of Native American service members, who serve in the U.S. military at a higher rate per capita than any other ethnic group.

Happy Indigenous Peoples’ Day to all the Indigenous veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces! EOVS is proud to serve Indigenous veterans across Massachusetts and we look forward to discussing our ongoing efforts at the Department of Public Health’s Tribal and Indigenous Health Summit later this week. Celebrating one year of the EOVS Engagement Office! On October 10, 2023, we proudly launched the EOVS Engagement Office, dedicated to directly supporting veterans and their families by helping them access benefits, services, and resources across Massachusetts. In just one year, our team has: ➡ Received 3,724 constituent inquiries related to veterans' services ➡ Successfully resolved and closed 3,532 cases ➡ Achieved a 95% success rate in delivering solutions for our veterans and their families.

VA Boston has launched a Medical Foster Home program and is looking for caregivers! Help a Veteran receive 24/7 care in a home setting as an alternative to a nursing home. Caregivers are matched with Veterans who pay privately for their care. Interested? Contact 617-435-4362 to learn more!

With funding support from our housing program, EOVS is proud to partner with VOAMASS to open the Plymouth Area Veterans Center- a new space for veterans to access peer support, connect with vital services, and build a strong community.

September fun with Clearpath Veterans New England! The EOVS Engagement team, alongside veterans from the Massachusetts Veterans Home at Chelsea, enjoyed a fantastic day connecting with fellow veterans and sharing valuable resources.
