It was an honor to attend the second annual Tribal and Indigenous Health Summit. From his experience providing medical care in Navajo Nation to his role at EOVS, Secretary Santiago is committed to advancing health equity for Indigenous peoples. EOVS will continue working on veterans’ equity in partnership with DPH, recognizing the unique contributions of Native American service members, who serve in the U.S. military at a higher rate per capita than any other ethnic group.

Celebrating one year of the EOVS Engagement Office! On October 10, 2023, we proudly launched the EOVS Engagement Office, dedicated to directly supporting veterans and their families by helping them access benefits, services, and resources across Massachusetts. In just one year, our team has: ➡ Received 3,724 constituent inquiries related to veterans' services ➡ Successfully resolved and closed 3,532 cases ➡ Achieved a 95% success rate in delivering solutions for our veterans and their families.
