This week, we invite everyone nationwide to pause and recognize these dedicated professionals, whose tireless commitment ensures the safety and well-being of us all. 🚑 🚒 🚓 Here’s just one inspiring story from this year’s Spirit of Courage Awards, presented by the Burn Prevention Network and Valley Preferred: On Thanksgiving morning last year, Captain Aaron Simon and Officer Robert McMahon of the Hatboro Police Department rescued a 97-year-old WWII pilot from a house fire. Battling heavy smoke and flames, Simon and McMahon reached the second floor to find the man semiconscious and disoriented—and acted quickly to carry him to safety.
