Derwentside College Completion - Well done everyone on another great project.
Another project complete ✅ Our cost and project management services division has successfully completed its latest project at Derwentside College. The team carried out the cost management role, from pre-contract to completion, starting on-site in March 2024, and reaching completion in September 2024. The project consisted of the construction of a new mezzanine floor with internal alterations and refurbishment to specific areas of the college. The mezzanine floor installation has created additional floor space, allowing the college to expand. Great work by all involved - Howarth Litchfield, kyoob, Hydrock, now Stantec, Meldrum Group👏

CHORISTERS SCHOOL REFURBISHMENT NEARING COMPLETION We are pleased to announce that restoration work is nearing completion on several Grade I and II* listed buildings at Chorister School, located next to Durham Cathedral. The work includes essential restoration of the stone and external façade, which involves repairs to the stone and brick masonry, repointing with hot lime mortar, and timber repairs. Additionally, the existing windows and external doors will be decorated. These restoration efforts are aimed at ensuring the long-term preservation of the buildings for future generations of school children.
