Today, we remember the profound loss and extraordinary courage of September 11, 2001. As we honor the 2,977 lives taken too soon, we also pay tribute to the brave first responders who faced unimaginable danger. Their sacrifice, along with the resilience of countless others, stands as a testament to the strength of the human spirit. On this day of reflection, let us unite in remembrance and gratitude, forever carrying their legacy of bravery and hope.

The new Unified Fire Service Area Fire Station No. 125 in Midvale combines modern design with practical features for enhanced functionality and health. The exterior showcases white GFRC panels contrasting with burgundy brick veneer and red apparatus bay doors. Interior spaces benefit from natural daylight through clerestory windows and an interior courtyard, boosting firefighters’ mental health. Designed during COVID-19, the station minimizes exposure to carcinogens and infectious diseases. It features a decontamination layout and individual bathrooms for each sleeping room to prevent disease spread and avoid turnout delays. Sleeping rooms are aligned on a straight hallway leading to the apparatus bays for quick response times. The building's horizontal form and pedestrian-friendly façade complement the Main Street District in which the station resides. The site also features a public "pocket park" on the unused corner portion of the property. Last week, BRW proudly participated in the beam signing and topping out ceremony for the Anna Community Library. The steel structure is on track for completion later this month, with the signed beam set to be prominently installed on the rooftop terrace—a visible tribute to the community once the building is finished. This moment commemorates the collaboration and dedication that have shaped this project from the start, and we are honored to be a part of it! #architecture #design 720 design inc. Located at the heart of the The University of Texas at Arlington campus, the Cooper Street Bridges were in need of a makeover. BRW, in partnership with SpawGlass, brought these bridges back to life with custom perforated panels showcasing a stampede of Mavericks, modern lighting, clean finishes, and bold UTA logos. Now, as students, staff, and city residents drive down Cooper Street, they are welcomed into the vibrant campus and community.
