Comprised of some of the brightest minds in their space, these groups work together to develop solutions that improve the digital advertising and marketing ecosystem.

Data, Privacy & Measurement Council

The IAB New Zealand Data, Privacy & Measurement Council exists to help the media and marketing industry understand and leverage industry and organisational applications of data and related technologies. Considering topics spanning business, audience, and campaign data, as well as analytics and consent, this council aims to help navigate the evolving landscape of digital privacy and to illuminate the challenges and opportunities of digital advertising measurement.

Digital Effectiveness Council

The IAB New Zealand Digital Effectiveness Council guides the industry on the best methods to optimise performance and effectiveness across the full digital spectrum, and includes the following Working Groups:

Audio Working Group: Provides education on the increasing value of online audio and podcasts as powerful and effective advertising mediums.

Video & Attention Working Group: Educates the industry on the power of video to engage attention across all digital advertising platforms.

Retail & eCommerce Working Group: Consists of representatives from retail media platforms, agencies, and digital advertising companies who are dedicated to raising awareness of retail media and eCommerce best practice.

Programmatic Digital Out of Home (pDOOH) Working Group

The IAB New Zealand pDOOH Working Group was created to meet the needs of a growing programmatic digital out-of-home market. It exists to educate the media and marketing industries on the value of pDOOH, best practices, and emerging trends.

He started his career in NZ cutting his teeth in design, media agencies, and a client-side role at McDonald’s before moving to Sydney, taking on a role as a founding member of the Twitter Australia team. He expanded his role into APAC and moved to Singapore as Twitter's Head of Video. More recently he helped launch mobile DSP, Liftoff, into Asia before moving back to NZ and joining Stanley St as their Head of Digital.

 

While being a 'digital native' Nivin has always held a close relationship with OOH, pushing strategic campaigns globally and consulting on PDOOH during its infancy.
