The primary purpose of this policy for the Google Cloud Community is to empower members to harness genAI for enhanced information access and synthesis, while preventing forums from increasing the occurrence of spam, or unhelpful content, which overall can result in a poor user experience.
In crafting this policy, the Google Cloud Community moderation team collaborated extensively with Google Cloud, consulted industry experts, and closely reviewed member feedback. As AI-powered assistance becomes increasingly integrated into the way we work and live, we expect the Google Cloud Community forums to evolve to encompass new ways of delivering information, surfacing relevant content, and more.
Below are guidelines of how we encourage members to leverage genAI in their interactions within the community, as well as examples of misuse that are not permitted – and how to report potential violations.
It is OK to use genAI to bring your questions and ideas to the forefront.
