Hope you don't mind, I changed the title of this list so it would match the ones for all the other years on Goodreads.

I don't mind! I just started it up because I reflectively add PW deals, and there wasn't a list to add it to.
I'm removing Golden Girl by Mari Mancusi. It got an earlier 2015 release.

A Rambler Steals Home now says it isn't coming out till 2017. Also, Weaving a Net Is Better Than Praying for Fish is to be released 2017.
The Last Bogler was already released in Australia in 2014 under the title A Very Singular Guild.

Could someone remove The Golden Compass from this list? Clearly not a 2016 release! :)(currently at position 196)

HI! While I love seeing Double Negative doing so well on this great list, it isn't a Middle Grade book. Is there a way to put it on a Young Adult list? I'd hate for someone to think they were getting warm and fuzzy, then find out that this story is about a serious teen issue.
Thanks for the heads up! I removed that one plus a bunch of other non-2016, non-middle grade releases.

Jasmine, how do you feel about self promotion on these lists? I see an author's 58 sockpuppets just spammed a self pubbed title to the second place spot.

It appears to be not sockpuppets as much as family and indie author mutual-aid societies. As the book does fit the criteria of the list, I didn't feel right about taking it off, and there isn't a way to drop it back down to the 50s, where reviewers got it.
Cool, just wanted to let you know. I think the only way is to have more people vote for the other top books to bump this one back down. Frustrating when authors decide to use these lists for self promotion, though. That's not what they're intended for.
Removed The Inhabitant of Alexis O'Riley, South by Southeast, Dear Sister, The Shadow Clock, Better Off Undead, Ronald Zupan & the Pirates of Borneo, The Book of Daniel, and The Tidings Tree, which were all delayed from their original 2016 release dates.
Did some cleanup on this list and removed Burn, Heartless, Wonder, The Forgetting, The Fourth Sage, and Lab Girl, which are all non-2016/non-middle grade titles.
