Brooklyn Park shooting grazes juvenile's head

A shooting in Brooklyn Park left a juvenile victim with a graze wound to their head, but they are expected to survive the minor injury.

What they're saying:

Brooklyn Park police officers responded to the Kensington Apartment Complex in the 8300 block of Zane Avenue North for a reported shooting that happened about 10 to 15 minutes earlier, according to a news release from the department. 

Police then found a vehicle that was hit by two bullets. 

As officers were investigating, a 911 caller reported they were with the juvenile gunshot victim two blocks away.

The news release said the juvenile had a "minor graze wound to their head" and was taken to the hospital. 

Investigators also found the initial scene of the shooting at the entrance to the apartment complex and collected evidence.
