• In September 2023, the specialist symposium "Climate Change, Health & Resilience" took place at Campus Villach. Experts from teaching, research and practice presented the latest findings in the field of health and climate. The symposium was held under the patronage of Federal Minister Leonore Gewessler and Federal Minister Johannes Rauch.

  • At the Corporate Health Award, Carinthia University of Applied Sciences received an award for its excellent 'Student Health Management', making it the first Austrian university to achieve excellence status.   • Since April 2021, CUAS is conducting a corporate health management project called FH4HEALTH. One of its aims is to define measures that reduce the burdens on employees and implement activities that promote a healthier work-life.
  • CUAS is a member of the network „Gesundheitsfördernde Hochschulen Österreich“ (Health-promoting universities Austria)
  • There is a working group on Climate Change & Health (KliGs) in the Health & Social Studies department. Among other things, it is dedicated to the implementation of "Planetary Health" in teaching.
