The European Fisheries Control Agency held its 43rd Administrative Board meeting in Vigo on 17 October 2024. The Board members have adopted the Single Programming Document (SPD), which contains the Multiannual work programme 2025-2029 and the EFCA´s work programme for 2025, with an annual budget of 31 million EUR. This document is a key planning tool to deliver EFCA’s mandate.

Please be informed that inspection of a fishing vessel in accordance with Commission Regulation (EC) no 724/2010 of 12 August 2010, has revealed that the amount of juvenile fish in the catches is found to be above the threshold.
Due to this information, it has been decided to close an area for the period from 15 August 2024 to 4 September 2024 at midnight.
