Our story
In 2018, our founder, Brian Vallelunga, hit a brick wall managing secrets while coding a personal project. Existing solutions felt clunky, designed for security teams rather than developers integrating into their workflows with ease. Out of this frustration, Doppler sprouted.
The goal was to build a secrets management platform that developers, DevOps, and security teams could all love. Brian's product vision was clear: make security as appealing as developer productivity. We knew that if developers naturally loved using Doppler, the security benefits would follow, ultimately creating a safer internet for everyone.
