  • Close Summary: Spot Check at the Immigration Centers of America - Farmville

    This is a summary of CRCL’s Recommendation Memorandum to ICE in March 2024 that followed CRCL’s onsite “spot check” investigation at the Immigration Centers of America – Farmville.  ICE responded to CRCL in July 2024 and concurred with 21 of CRCL’s recommendations, partially concurred with four, and non-concurred with eight.

  • Close Summary: Disability Modifications at USCIS Application Support Centers

    This is a summary of CRCL’s Recommendation Memorandum to USCIS in December 2023 about disability modifications at Application Support Centers.  USCIS responded to CRCL in June 2024 and concurred with CRCL’s one recommendation.

  • Retention Memorandum: Winn Correctional Center

    On September 5, 2024, CRCL issued ICE this memorandum announcing its multidisciplinary onsite investigation at the Winn Correctional Center in Winnfield, Louisiana.  An investigation into allegations that ICE violated the civil rights and civil liberties of noncitizens detained by ICE at Winn.

    On August 21, 2024, CRCL issued ICE this memorandum announcing its multidisciplinary onsite investigation at the Northwest ICE Processing Center in Tacoma, Washington.

    ​​​​​​This is a summary of CRCL’s Recommendation Memorandum to ICE in February 2024 that followed CRCL’s onsite investigation at the Buffalo Service Processing Center.  ICE responded to CRCL in June 2024 and concurred with 22 of CRCL’s recommendations, partially concurred with five, and non-concurred with eight.

  • Close Summary: Pike County Correctional Facility

    This is a summary of CRCL’s Recommendation Memorandum to ICE in January 2024 that followed CRCL’s onsite investigation at the Pike County Correctional Center.  ICE responded to CRCL in April 2024 and concurred with nine of CRCL’s recommendations, partially concurred with two, and non-concurred with nine.

  • Retention and Implementation Review Memorandum: Moshannon Valley Processing Center

    On 16 August 2024, CRCL issued to ICE this memorandum announcing its onsite investigation at the Moshannon Valley Processing Center (MVPC) in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania.  An investigation into allegations that ICE violated the civil rights and civil liberties of noncitizens detained by ICE at the MVPC.

  • Close Summary: Fourth Amendment Protections

    This is a summary of CRCL’s Recommendation Memorandum to ICE in August 2023 that followed CRCL’s investigation into allegations concerning ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) entering an individual’s complainant’s residence without a warrant.  ICE responded to CRCL in February 2024, and non-concurred with all three of CRCL’s recommendations.

    This is a summary of CRCL’s Recommendation Memorandum to ICE in September 2023 that followed CRCL’s investigation into over 200 allegations regarding the care and treatment of noncitizens in and the conditions of ICE detention facilities within the New Orleans Area of Responsibility.
