Toys for Tots

Ciocca Corvette recently hosted its 20th annual Toys For Tots Corvette Caravan in Atlantic City on September 16th. This year's event saw participation from over 500 Corvette enthusiasts hailing from various parts of the northeast. The impressive lineup of Corvettes congregated at Farley Service Plaza, situated along the Atlantic City Expressway, before embarking on a 21-mile journey to Bader Air Field, located opposite the Ciocca Automotive Atlantic City campus. The result of this gathering was the collection of thousands of toys, marking a record-breaking turnout to support the commencement of the Marine Corps Toys for Tots drive. This heartwarming tradition dates back to the early 2000s when members of the CorvetteForum online community decided to share their good fortune, represented by their beloved Corvettes, with less fortunate children who deserved the joy of having their own toys. This event not only brings joy to the hearts of the children but also signifies the launch of the Toys for Tots campaign, which runs from October 1st through mid to late December each year. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us in Atlantic City to make this event a resounding success.

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), a federally funded nutrition program created during the pandemic, has ended. Leaving millions of Americans across the country and in the Lehigh Valley without a monthly stipend for food. Ciocca Corvette Helps Deliver Final Wish

Late in the month of January, the General Manager at Ciocca Corvette received a voicemail from a devastated young woman who had just been told that her father had only a few weeks to live. Her father's plan upon retirement had always been to purchase a brand new, Torch Red Corvette. Knowing that plan had changed due to his diagnosis, he told his daughter that his dying wish was to sit in a C8.

The following Wednesday, Curt and his family came to Atlantic City, where he got to experience being driven on the AC Expressway, top-down, in a brand new, Torch Red, C8 Corvette. We are honored to have been part of such a special moment of joy during a challenging time.

We are deeply saddened to hear that only two days later, on Friday 1/20, Curt had passed away after his battle with cancer.

A GoFundMe page is raising funds to support his family with the medical bills and the expenses to come, to which we have pledged $2,500. We are hopeful the Corvette Community will consider donating in support of Curt's Family as well.

Rest In Peace Curt Dawicki.
