Scenic City Women’s Network announces Christian actress, author and director as the keynote speaker for the annual Praise! Breakfast to be held on March 27 from 7-9 a.m., at the Chattanooga Convention Center, 1 Carter Plaza in Chattanooga. Doors open at 6:30 a.m.
About the speaker:
Shari Rigby is a multifaceted talent recognized for her impactful contributions to faith and family inspirational entertainment. Best known for her compelling performances in Overcomer, October Baby, Not Today, Wildflower and The Least of These, Ms.
Rigby is a leading figure in faith-based cinema.
She has made significant contributions to television, serving as an executive producer, director and writer for 20 episodes of the Dream Center. She played a pivotal role in directing scenes for the Kendrick Brothers films Overcomer, LifeMark and The Forge.
As a writer she has co-authored the books, Beautifully Flawed and Consider the Lilies: 40 Day Devotional Book. Ms. Rigby has spent the last several decades following God’s mandate to minister to His women through her nonprofit, The Women in My World, which focuses on mentoring, discipling and encouraging women to use their God-given talents/gifts to create God-honoring content in entertainment, media and business.
