Charity Footprints is a social initiative to make this world healthier, more generous, and a more community-oriented place. At Charity Footprints Inc., we link charitable giving to personal fitness and encourage individuals (or groups) to get healthy while supporting causes close to their heart.
Step 1: Sign up for a Fitness Campaign or create a personal fitness goal (on iOS or Android)
Step 2: Raise funds and/or awareness for the cause
Step 3: Track your workouts (on iOS or Android) and finish the Campaign
Note: You can also use the app to track your fun runs, walks, or bike rides.
While setting your personal fitness goals on the app, make sure you check out the search feature (conveniently hidden at the bottom of the featured non-profit partner list). If the organization you are looking for doesn't show up in the search results, please contact us here and we'll try our best to get it listed soon. In the interim, please consider supporting another worthy cause.
Campaigns are running, walking, or biking goals that encourage individuals (or teams) to cover a certain number of miles, in a specific amount of time. At Charity Footprints, we allow individuals, non-profits, and other groups to set-up such Campaigns and help raise awareness and/or funds for worthy causes. List of our live Campaigns is here.
Interested in starting your own campaign? Contact us and we'll get you started in no time.
Events: Event is a type of Campaign in which a user pays (charitable donations) to participate. The details of how the donations will be used is governed and defined by the campaign owner.
Challenges: Challenge is a type of Campaign that is free to join. These campaigns are usually backed by prizes, gift cards, bragging rights etc. and can be used for raising awareness for a particular cause, (re)engage with volunteers, and sometimes set-up just for fun.
All Charity Footprints Campaigns are listed here.
Event registration is a fee an individual (or team) pays to participate in a paid campaign. This fee is received by the entity that originates the event. Once a participant signs up for a campaign, we provide a fundraising page where more funds can be raised for some amazing causes.
Our typical Campaigns give users several days to finish the workout miles. For such campaigns, users have the option to do multiple smaller workouts or finish the distance in one workout.
When you register for a Campaign, Charity Footprints will give you an individual (or team) fundraising page where you can raise additional funds for the campaign.
Congratulations on being an amazing person! As next step, simply log in on the Charity Footprints' iOS or Android app and you will see a workout goal in the app. Before you start an activity, turn on the app, select this goal and hit start. Once you are finished, simply save the activity (and feel great about life in general!).
