This was such a great hostel! The staff created such a great atmosphere to meet people; whether you like partying or exploring the city, there is always someone to tag along with. Honestly one of the top hostels I’ve ever stayed in. While it is slightly more expensive than some others I would say it is for sure worth it! The couple running it went above and beyond to make sure everyone feels safe, comfortable, and is having a good time. Cannot thank them enough for such an amazing experience:)

ZZZIP Guesthouse is in the hearth of Seoul. The whole Mapo-gu area is walking distance. Moreover, the metro and the circular line are two steps away. Super convenient location. And this guesthouse will surely makes you feel at home.

Dorms could do with having a little bit more room for bags

Jina and Brian are such amazing hosts - so happy to help out and they make the atmosphere great. The WhatsApp group is a massive plus - Jina and Brian post lots of info on things to do, and people are always organising plans that you can join in on. Location is very good, near a tube station and a short walk from hongdae street. Free breakfast always a plus!

Everything was amazing! Bryan and Jina are incredible hosts - welcoming, kind, funny and so so helpful with absolutely anything you need. They've created such a great atmosphere and it was an excellent social experience. Everything was clean and comfortable and the location is great too, very close to Hapjeong Station and easy access to the main street of Hongdae.

Really nice time here in Zzzip Guesthouse. Felt very homely and hostel owners Bryan and Jina did everything to make guests feel comfortable, such as providing recommendations and generally chatting with guests. Highly recommend for solo travellers to meet people, we often went for meals together.

Continental Style Breakfast was just what I needed. Location was excellent (really close to Metro Station), The community feel of the Hostel that has created by Jina & Bryan. The Social Comms created by the Zzzip Team ... is the best that I have ever seen in 38 years of backpacking. By far ... it is the best hostel in which I have ever stayed in.

Great location, clean, great value for money. Jinah and Bryan are both such great hosts and gave loads of quality recommendations. No wonder why they have so many returning guests. I was travelling solo but never felt alone at this place - made a few friends and everyone was super friendly and social. I only had a short stay here in Seoul but I am very tempted to go back here, for even longer next time!

Jina and his partner are the greatest hosts you can find in Seoul. They make you feel right at home and you can see they love what they do. When you arrive they will give you tons of instructions and recommendations. Also, they will add you to a WhatsApp group so you can get in touch with other people staying in the hostel, which I think is an amazing idea. The accommodation is greatly located, in an area with easy access to the metro. The beds are confiable and everything is clean. Would totally come here again in my next time in Seoul

The hosts were amazing. They provided a group chat for all the visitors and gave a lost of daily events. They even provided alternatives dependent on the weather. The location is convenient for subway and busses. Lots of nightlife options nearby but the immediate area is quiet.

We had a great time here! Jina and Bryan (the owners) were incredibly welcoming, kind and friendly. The hostel is extremely social and when we arrived we were immediately added to a Whatsapp group chat with all of the other guests, making it unbelievably easy to make friends. The location was exceptional for going out in the evenings, and there was also a metro station very close by which was convenient for exploring during the day. I could not recommend it enough!

Nothing to say, it was much better than expected!

The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very clean, they booked me the DMZ tour the day before and it was really a fascinating tour (thank you Erica for the guide!), the breakfast was tasty, there is a whatssap group where we can meet other guests and do activities together. Jina and Bryan (the hosts) were very nice and sent recommandations for activities everyday on the whatssap group. I would strongly recommend this hostel!

We loved our stay in Zzzip Guesthouse!! The guesthouse exceeded our expectations and Gina and Bryan were very helpful and friendly, always available for everything we might have needed. A room that lacked nothing, a satisfactory breakfast and people willing to help us have the most amazing time in Seoul. Would definitely recommend and we hope we can visit them again in the future. There was nothing not to like.

Bryan and Jina are the most amazing hosts! They are so warm and welcoming and are also incredibly helpful. You couldn't ask for better. The room was clean, the WiFi was great and the location was excellent. It's a really friendly place - I met some other people staying there on my first night and we all went for KBBQ, it was a great night. A brilliant, friendly hostel!

This is the most amazing hostel I’ve ever been to! Jinah and Bryan have made the coziest place, where I just wanted to stay. It’s perfect for a solo traveler, as you get into a WhatsApp group, where you can meet all the other guests whom you can explore Seoul with - and the hosts send recommendations for whatever you want to do in Seoul and the rest of South Korea.
