Ubytovanie AsiaCamp Taman Negara Resort sa nachádza v destinácii Kuala Tahan a hostia tu majú k dispozícii záhradu. I got upgraded because the dorms were under renovation. The double room was very comfortable, even better for that price. The owners were very friendly, I got to eat with them in the evening.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool, a private restaurant and free WiFi access, Xcape Resort Taman Negara is tucked away in Kampong Keldong. It provides guests with both private rooms and dormitories. The rooms were spacious, clean and felt quite new. Bed was rather big and had a nice mattress. The AC worked perfectly. Shower was separated from the toilet (which was super rare on our vacation in Malaysia).

Located in Taman Negara – Pahang’s rainforest sanctuary, Mutiara Taman Negara features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace, offering Tembeling River or jungle views. It is difficult to briefly describe the possibilities this accommodation offers. The facility is very large and is located on the "right" side of the river. Numerous hiking trails leave from here, tours can be booked, and there is always someone there to ask questions. It is a paradise for anyone who wants to connect with nature. Regarding the price-performance ratio: On the one hand, it is a quite expensive accommodation by Malaysian standards. On the other hand, you have to keep in mind that it is a huge logistical effort to get everything necessary to accommodate and feed tourists to the other side of the river. The same applies to water and sewer pipes. There is plenty of staff, everyone is super nice, the whole facility is constantly maintained. So you have to look at it as a whole, and given that I can live comfortably on the edge of a primary forest, it's worth every penny. There was only one big disadvantage: My stay was too short;-)! I would like to come back, but for longer. A very powerful flashlight for night walks is recommended.
