Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Excellent host, very friendly. Greeted us, showed us where everything was. Bottles of water in the fridge, tea, coffee even crisps out to help yourself.
Very clean, quiet and comfy place to say. Great location for city centre and anfield.
Great location outside the city, lovely and quiet with great hosts. The breakfast facility is all set up in the room ready for the following day which was great.
Great location, bus ride or a cheap Uber to Liverpool city centre and walking distance to Anfield stadium. Great value for money for what we paid for each person. The kitchen had everything that you needed for your stay to just help yourself. Both the host and the staff are very friendly, attentive and down to earth. Definitely will make The arms a regular match day weekend stay.
This spacious and comfortable apartment was in a great location being only a few minutes walk to the city centre. Despite being on the ground floor and next to a road, it was very quiet. There was effective heating, adequately equipped modern kitchen and a great tv. Kane deserves a special mention as he was an excellent host who went out of his way to help us and make our visit to Liverpool very enjoyable.
The hostel is in a great location only a short walk the the centre of Liverpool google maps assistance.
The overall cost is very good compared to hotels.
All rooms were very quiet and clean the charge for towel was cheap and would not bother bringing my own in the future
Very friendly B&B owner who was quick to respond to queries & very accommodating.
Room was quiet & comfortable, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Although we had to leave before stated breakfast time, our host left the dining room open so that we could help ourselves to coffee, & continental breakfast items (fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals etc), which were good quality.
Great location for Liverpool Ferry Port for our journey to Ireland.
Easy to find & park.
Great location, quiet but easy to get to the city centre. Plenty of easy on street parking. Accomodation very clean. Brilliant shower. Friendly, quick responses from the host. Recommended.
The host is amazing - very polite, nice man. Breakfast was good. The place was very clean and comfortable . The location is great - near a bus stop that goes to city centre, a taxi to the centre is also cheap, there are few pubs around the guest house, a shop and also Anfield is literally in front of the house. The best value for money I’ve ever had!
Very friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely spacious room with your own fridge and fresh fruits. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Good pub at walking distance. A very good place to rest after a day in the busy city centre of Liverpool. Secure parking.
Great location for visit to Anfield - it is literally across the road from the stadium.
Dean was a great host, very accommodating and was able to answer all questions about the local area.
This isnt a 5* Hotel with a Spa - its a fantastic little guest house in the best spot to stay if visiting Anfield.
