Situated right in front of Yamashita Park and looking out to the Yokohama Bay, Hotel New Grand is a renowned classic hotel with nearly a century of first-class hospitality. Such a beautiful vintage looking hotel with an interesting history! Lovely room amenities and mini coffee machine! Location was amazing - next to a lovely ginko tree-lined street and fun park beside the harbour. My kids loved the Christmas interactive light up at night so much. Was pleasantly surprised to have connecting rooms for my family plus a gorgeous city & harbour view! Service was impeccable as well. Did not try the breakfast buffet so can't comment on that.

THE BEAUTIFUL VIEW FROM OUR ROOM ,THE RIVER BRIDGE /RIVER. THE TRAIN STATION SO CLOSE TO THIS HOTEL, AND MOST OF ALL, THE WONDERFUL STAFF. EVERYONE IS SO FRIENDLY, ALWAYS VERY WELCOMING, SMILING AND TRULY CARING ABOUT THEIR GUEST. I ESPECIALLY WANT TO THANK HOTEL MANAGER MR.LEO. HE GREETED US WHEN WE ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL, INTRODUCED HIMSELF TO US AND EVEN WENT TO OUR ROOM, TO SEE THAT EVERYTHING IN OUR ROOM WAS SATISFACTORY. WE HAVE NEVER HAD A HOTEL MANAGER DO THAT. MR. A short walk from the station and a great location to see Yokohama, with most things in walking distance. The venue was super clean and modern. The washer and dryer was super helpful and affordable. Given that this is Japan, the room I got was a decent size and the bathroom was spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful and the free soft drinks in the lounge area is a nice touch.
