47 km from Hasselt Market Square, B&B de oude melkfabriek is a recently renovated property set in Valkenswaard and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. A beautiful converted dairy in a small village , next to a working windmill, what’s not to like ,😀 there is a pub/restaurant and a small take a way food shop. There is also a world class equestrian site . We opted to have breakfast there wasn’t a choice but we had fresh fruit with yogurt ,bolied egg with a section of cheese and meat and assorted bread and pastries all served with a choice of tea or coffees . The B&B de oude melkfabriek were extremely accommodating as we made a short notice booking with them as the B n B we had previously booked which was on our tour route unfortunately became flooded and they had to cancel our stay . This B&B is also a short drive or a long walk to Achel Monastery where there is a shop and restaurant. Although you will find a lot of places are closed on a Monday .

We were warmly received by the hosts on arrival. Great breakfast as well in the morning. Comfortable room, very clean and recently renovated.

The apartment is located in the center, close to restaurants, shops, park. The apartment is spacious and interestingly decorated. I liked sitting on the balcony in the sun the most.
