Since the early 2000s, members of the inter-agency, interdisciplinary National Riparian Service Team (NRST) and their affiliates have helped foster these relationships and the development of a common understanding of riparian function and management through consensus-building workshops, demonstration projects, community-based training and field trips& and assistance with watershed assessments. The BLM CADR program works to deliver similar services for collaboration and dispute resolution, including working with the NRST.
