World champion Kieran Reilly will be hoping to retain his rainbow jersey after last year's win in Glasgow. The world number two has had a successful year, taking silver at his debut Olympics in Paris for Team GB and being crowned national champion in November.
Fellow Briton Reef Way, 19, will make his World Championships debut after finishing third at this year's national championships. Way is ranked 11th in the world.
World number one Anthony Jeanjean will be looking to improve on last year's performance where he came 24th in Glasgow. The Frenchman took bronze at this year's Olympics, having been outscored by Reilly for silver.
Great Britain's Sasha Pardoe will be aiming to reach the women's final after winning the national and European titles this year in her most successful season. Pardoe is ranked eighth in the world.
