The UCI Urban Cycling World Championships are taking place in Abu Dhabi this week and you can watch live coverage of the BMX freestyle park finals on Saturday, 21 December on BBC Sport.

The Urban Cycling World Championships start on 17 December and feature three disciplines: freestyle park, freestyle flatland and trials.

In the park event, women are in three qualifying groups to determine who reaches the final. The men are in four qualifying groups before a semi-final and final.

Who to watch out for in BMX freestyle park

World champion Kieran Reilly will be hoping to retain his rainbow jersey after last year's win in Glasgow. The world number two has had a successful year, taking silver at his debut Olympics in Paris for Team GB and being crowned national champion in November.

Fellow Briton Reef Way, 19, will make his World Championships debut after finishing third at this year's national championships. Way is ranked 11th in the world.

World number one Anthony Jeanjean will be looking to improve on last year's performance where he came 24th in Glasgow. The Frenchman took bronze at this year's Olympics, having been outscored by Reilly for silver.
