I have not felt this compelled to write a review in years. This book is just all the very best things and I couldn’t read it fast enough. There is suspense, several mysteries to unravel, a hint of love, and a potential haunting. The characters are diverse and dealing with all the nonsense one would expect to encounter in our current society. Best of all it is written with the anger of a liberal woman living in a conservative hellscape. I had to put it down at one point and Google the author to make sure she wasn’t writing about the little pocket of Tennessee where I currently live. It was just that relatable. If any of these things appeal to you, you need to read this book!
