    It really is waterproof and still keeps working I was caught in the rain and I intentionally didn't secure it in a plastic bag already in my bookbag like I did my phone about 20 minutes in heavy rain I pressed play still stuck in the rain amazing it is a loud speaker you can hear the extra bass as it sounds like speakers rattling in a car ignore other reviews saying it's not loud I have two phones so it depends on your devices one phone is louder than the other both are Motorola as I realized before the speaker the upgraded phone is not as loud and the previous phone is louder so with that one the speaker is very very loud good battery life as well I think you should realize it's a very loud speaker other than that it goes with the flow of your devices it's worth buying and it's portable and handy it answers the phone it even rings when it's a phone call given this review once you purchase you will be amazed

    This speaker has great sound for its size. We use it to stream music and podcasts in our 90s era Ford F150 on long road trips. It's of a size to fit in most cupholders, and has a strap that you can loop something through to hold it if you have to put the cupholder up. It's lasted up to 6 hours on a single charge.

    The clarity is better than we've experienced in other speakers, and it's very easy to hook the bluetooth up.

    It would be nice if there were dedicated buttons for settings like bass etc instead of the old button-mash-and-pray, but it's otherwise a good investment.

    Sometimes I don't want ear buds when I listen to music. For a compact speaker, the sound is really good on this. It does have some hiss, but it's a very small speaker; so I'm not expecting the same sound quality as a larger speaker. I like that the buttons are labeled in a lighter color than the body; I have another speaker that the buttons are the same color and I cannot ever see what I'm pressing without taking my glasses off and getting up close. It pairs easily with every device I have, even a cheap mp3/fm radio. I like it so far.

    I like to use a small bluetooth speaker in the bathroom while showering. I like to listen to classical music and podcasts. This small speaker has a strong bass, which might appeal to some when listening to popular music. However, the (overly) strong bass somewhat drowns out the higher frequencies needed for clear speech understanding. It takes an effort to understand podcasts because of the strong bass. I returned this.

    I use both Apple and Windows systems. I like the Apple AirPod speaker, but Apple doesn't play nice with anyone but Apple. This Sony speaker is basically does for my Windows laptop what the AirPod does for my Mac, a small speaker portable speaker with much better sound that the internal speakers. I've traveled with it and it is fine for a small office or hotel room.
