Sent my computer in for some lagging and exterior damage and it came back practically brand spanking new! Couldn’t tell it’s my old laptop. This insurance is definitely worth the investment! Highly recommend.Got my product back in about a week as well despite new parts being needed!

    Asurion has been a bit of a mixed bag for me. I've had multiple policies with them over the years, and it's definitely reassuring to know that I can get my devices repaired without extra cost. This has been especially helpful with my laptop, which has unfortunately needed a few repairs. Their claims process has become much more streamlined, and it's now easier to get a device sent back to them. They pay for shipping (mine was 1 or 2-day air with UPS) and even provide a padded box if needed. Plus, their customer service is accessible by phone or live chat.

    However, my most recent experience wasn't perfect. While the main issues were fixed, the laptop came back with a faulty touchscreen. It worked intermittently at first, but then failed completely within a week. On the plus side, the unit was clean, and the other repairs were successful. To be fair, my laptop has some special technology (a stylus and screen with AES in addition to the regular touchscreen), so this repair was probably more complex than usual. I likely wouldn't have had as much difficulty with a more standard laptop.

    Another downside is their policy terms. If a device can't be repaired, they don't reimburse the tax I originally paid or the remaining policy term. Instead, they refund the purchase price. While this helps, it can mean extra expense if the product was bought on sale or the price has gone up since then. In my case, this also meant I had to repay sales tax and other fees on the replacement, which added to the overall cost. Plus, I have to pay full price for a new policy.

    Despite these issues, I'm fairly happy with Asurion. Their insurance is valuable in situations where the risk of needing repairs and the potential costs are high. I think it's worth it for my daily driver devices, even if the price is a bit steep.

    Repairing my HP Pavilion Screen through Asurion (Protection Plan) was the easiest, cheapest and most efficient/effective manner to get my life up and running.

    I'm older (66) and was able to log on to the Asurion website, upload a photo, and request repair.
    The repair team responded immediately, they sent packaging, provided instructions, and received the laptop the day after drop off. The team sent an update as to when it was received, stating parts were ordered, and then BAM...4 days latter I received my laptop! They sent a repair summary and cleaned the unit, and included a "Tips Sheet" to advise me on how to keep the laptop running smoothly.

    Best repair experience!

    All you gotta do is: 1) read the instructions, and 2) follow through! The experience is completely up to you! The Asurion Dream Team does their part beyond expectation!

    Asurion was great. My computer was not charging. I went to my policy in My Orders on Amazon and started a claim on line. Asurion sent protective packaging to ship the computer to them along with the UPS label (Asurion covers the cost of shipping). Asurion notified me when the computer was received, when it was being worked on, and when it was shipped back. The whole thing was done in less than a week. The coverage was money well spent.

    My husband dropped my $600+ laptop and smashed the back right corner. We reported it, they sent a box, we mailed it to them, they fixed it, sent it back, it still had separate issues, so we reported it, they sent a box, we sent it in, they fixed it and sent it back. All of this happened within a few days. It was quick and flawless. I have kids and was worried about them damaging it, but hey, it helped out even my husband's whoopsie. Thanks a lot Asurion, much love.

    My daughter's computer screen was somehow broken on the first day of college. I submitted a claim and she was sent a box with easy instructions and sent it off. It still took a few weeks between getting the box to her and shipping back and forth, but her fixed computer came back faster than expected and she is back in business for school. Great service!!

    I purchased a 4-year plan from Asurion. The hinge on my HP laptop broke, and I filed a claim with Asurion. I was told a boxkit and label would be sent to me in 5-7 business days. I did not receive it. Following up with them, there was no boxkit ever requested, and I was told that something would be done in 2 business days. Nothing was done and when I followed up again I was told it would be 5-7 business days, and there was no tracking information in their system (meaning it had not been sent). I asked to escalate the matter as my work computer is broken and it will take two weeks or more SIMPLY TO GET A LABEL AND BOX TO MAIL IT IN. Furthermore, I'm told there is nothing that can be done to expedite the matter. I offered to buy my own box and simply print whatever label they send me, and was told that wasn't possible in their system. I've asked to have it escalated, spoken to a service person on the phone, and now (third time) I'm asking it be escalated via chat. The supervisor advised that it would probably be received by the following week. Another option is to drop my laptop off at a UBREAKIFIX, pay for the repair myself - up to the purchase price of the laptop ($679) - and they would mail me a check afterwards. I was forwarded to a supervisor who added nothing to the situation; a complete waste of time. Expect to wait AT LEAST two weeks simply to get a box, and then who knows how long it will take to get the repair completed. I am very dissatisfied with this product.
