A. There are 2 ways to invoke Alexa on the device:
(1) In the Alexa watch app, tap the Alexa logo on the screen to enter the listening screen, then ask Alexa with your request.
(2) If your device has 3 hardware buttons, during the Alexa app setup you will get the option to customize one of the buttons to open the Alexa app. After you have done this, simply press the button you chose to open the Alexa app.
You don't need to say "Alexa" before speaking your request. For example, you can press the Tap to Talk button in the app and ask:
"Set a timer for 10 minutes."
"Set an alarm for 8:00 a.m."
"What's the temperature outside?"
"Remind me to make dinner at 6:00 p.m."

Q. How do I change the language my voice assistant recognizes?
A. Follow these steps:
1. Open the Alexa mobile app.
2. Open More and select Settings.
3. Select Device Settings.
4. Select your device.
5. Under Language, select your preferred language.

Q. Is my voice assistant always listening?
A. No. The microphone in your watch only turns on when you activate it, which only occurs by opening the Alexa app and then pressing the Tap to Talk button. The microphone turns off when the voice assistant responds, when you close the voice assistant, or when your watch’s screen turns off. Whenever Alexa is listening, you will always see an animation on the screen with an animated blue ring. If you ever want to look back at your history of past interactions with Alexa on the watch, you can open your Alexa mobile app and check the voice history.

Solution: Alexa on your Fossil device are only supported in certain countries. Solution: Each reminder only shows the next time you’ll receive it, not whether it’s recurring. However, if you set a reminder as recurring, you’ll receive it on the schedule you set.
Problem: My alarm, notification, or reminder didn’t alert me.
Solution: Charge your watch and try again. If your watch’s battery is below 8%, your watch won’t vibrate.
Problem: My voice assistant has trouble understanding me.
Solution: If you recently went swimming or got your watch wet, there might be water in the microphone. Wait a few minutes for the microphone to dry, then try again to use your voice assistant.
Problem: Alexa asks, "What skill do you want to learn about?" in response to every request.
