Anyone who's been paying attention to Hayley Williams since, say, 2016 might think that the singer's signature hair color is blonde. Totally understandable. But those of us who've been familiar with Williams since her Paramore days knows that her true signature color is orange (which is why none of us were surprised when she found a new calling with vivid hair-color brand Good Dye Young). And it seems she was feeling nostalgic for her 32nd birthday because she celebrated by bringing back the cheerful shade.
On Sunday, December 27, Williams posted a quick video to her Instagram grid giving fans an extreme close-up of her new orange ‘do — "32 👩🏻🦰," she wrote in the caption. In a second slide, we see a selfie of the singer; it’s dimly lit, but it's clear that the color isn't quite as fluorescent as the orange she so regularly rocked in her twenties.

Williams posted another selfie in her Instagram Stories, this time wearing glasses and writing "🥳🥳🥳 32 and back to my roots. thanks friends for loving me well."
If by "friends" she means "fans," they are definitely loving her — and the new hair color — well. "Orange hair is BACK!!!" one commenter wrote. "UR HAIRRR," another exclaimed, while yet another said, "The hair is back!!"
This hasn't been Williams only return to orange in her thirties. She drove fans wild when, in March 2019, she made a surprise return to a vibrant orange. We'll just have to wait and see if she lets it fade back to blonde or perhaps gives one of the many other rainbow shades she's worn a new spin. Good Dye Young certainly makes that easy.
