The challenges

Conversion rate and customer lifetime value (LTV) were the two most critical metrics that Unitymob monitored. The brand started to look for an email and SMS marketing solution to help acquire new customers and nurture leads for repeat purchases. After a bit of research, it found one.

However, the brand faced several issues with its previous email and SMS apps. These issues included low ROI in email marketing due to labor-intensive tasks, margins being eaten up by unreasonable pricing, and glitches in support services.

Unitymob was pouring more effort into email marketing than the returns they were seeing. The existing system did offer product recommendations, but setting them up took a lot of work. This left Unitymob with the labor-intensive job of configuring emails, manually selecting, and listing products.

With the previous system, the team found themselves stretched thin, grappling with excessive charges for emails sent beyond their quota. On top of that, steep fees from SMS plans were eating into their profits. “We are so overwhelmed by the extra fees and increased pricing every quarter.
