    Last week I had the most amazing opportunity and experience presenting on how AfterShip uses A.I. in Estimated Delivery Dates (EDD) to over 40 national post operator's executive teams at PostEurop's 2024 business forum on 2024 in Belgrade, Serbia. Going into the conference, I had a lot of questions as to how innovative postal operators were when it came to A.I. and technology, but after listening to Carlos Bhatt, PhD of CTT - Correios de Portugal, Thierry Golliard of Swiss Post,  Christian Oestergaard MSc of PostNord, and Pierre Etienne Bardin of La Poste Groupe talk about the everything from deploying AI chatbots, implementing LLMs into the daily tool stack of employees, improving product documentation, parcel and mail sortation, optimizing delivery routing, and so much more at the event, I can say that some of the most innovative postal operators are already far ahead of the curve. Not only that, we saw Levan Chikvaidze, CEO of Georgian Post • საქართველოს ფოსტა have a conversation with Shrek, as well as Assel Zhanassova, CEO of Kazpost JSC show us stamp design capabilities, both by utilizing GenAI in the real world. National posts may sometimes be viewed as dinosaurs in the logistics space, but as long as there are visionaries in the business, and as long as the national posts continue to work together and mutual share it's learnings, they will be stronger together.
