Australian firms will be pushed to better collaborate and share research and intellectual property with business partners as part of a new national science policy focused on five so-called “missions”.

Industry and Science Minister Ed Husic will release the national science statement, and five new cross-disciplinary priorities, on Monday morning, explicitly making science a foundation for the federal government’s Future Made in Australia strategy.
