OROVILLE, Calif. - Last night, the Oroville City Council approved an ordinance to stop adding fluoride to the city water supply.
Fluoride has been added to Oroville’s water supply since 1951. Leaders decided that since there are other ways to get fluoride, it’s time to discontinue adding it to the water in Oroville.
The council has not finalized when this will happen.
