REDDING, Calif. - Due to recent federal guidelines, the Redding Police Department said they can no longer maintain a free and safe medication disposal kiosk at their location.
The kiosk, which has been in service since 2015, will be locked and removed from service on Friday.
Multiple locations in Shasta County will continue to offer free and safe medication disposal services to the public. You can find them here.
