UVU Review is the independent, student media organization for Utah Valley University, it is completely student-run and includes a print newspaper, online edition/website, podcasting division, video broadcasting division, social media division, graphic design division, and a marketing division. The paper's name became official with its June 30, 2008 issue – the day before UVU officially became a university. [1]

The print newspaper publishes bi-weekly on Mondays during the fall and spring semesters. The print edition is typically 8 pages using a broadsheet format, printed by Ogden Newspapers of Utah. The Review's website is updated with new content (ranging from written articles, podcasts, broadcasts, etc.) multiple times every week.

As of the 2022-2023 school year, the Review includes a news section, arts & culture section, health & wellness section, and a sports section; with new articles published to the website daily through the work-week. Additionally, they publish numerous short video broadcast packages and four different weekly podcasts (the "Cultured Wolverine," "Wellness for Wolverines," "Wolverine Sports Central," and the "Wolverine Buzz"). Most recently they launched a new broadcast/podcast collaboration project, a bi-weekly live show called the "Wolverine Pack."

The staff is student-operated, receiving on-the-job training as well as attending national journalism conferences, both professional and collegiate [2] The newspaper made reports across the country as the entire circulation run was reported as stolen from stands on campus. [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]

The Utah Valley Wolverines men's basketball team is a team that represents Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, United States. The team is currently coached by Todd Phillips. The school's team currently competes in the Western Athletic Conference of NCAA Division I college basketball. Its home games are played in the UCCU Center on the school's Orem, Utah campus. The Wolverines have yet to appear in the NCAA tournament since moving to Division I. The Wolverines joined the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) in 2013 as part of the early-2010s NCAA conference realignment.

The 2013–14 Utah Valley Wolverines men's basketball team represented Utah Valley University in the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Dick Hunsaker entered his twelfth season as the UVU head coach. The Wolverines played their home games at the UCCU Center as new members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 20–12, 13–3 in WAC play to win the WAC regular season championship. They advanced to the semifinals of the WAC tournament where they lost to Idaho. Eric Madsen is an American baseball coach and former player. He played college baseball at Eastern Utah from 1991 to 1992 before transferring to Southern Utah. He then served as the head coach of the Eastern Utah Golden Eagles (1997–2003) and Utah Valley Wolverines (2009–2021). Madsen took Utah Valley to its first NCAA Regional in 2016 and during his career has amassed a record of 305–357

The 2014–15 Utah Valley Wolverines men's basketball team represented Utah Valley University in the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Dick Hunsaker was in his thirteenth season as the UVU head coach. The Wolverines played their home games at the UCCU Center as members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 11–19, 5–9 in WAC play to finish in sixth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the WAC tournament to Cal State Bakersfield.

The 2024–25 Utah Valley Wolverines women's basketball team represents Utah Valley University in the 2024–25 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. Dan Nielson entered the season as head coach for his 6th season. The Wolverines play their home games at the UCCU Center and Lockhart Arena in Orem, Utah as members of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).
