Courtney Andrew Walsh OJ is a Jamaican former cricketer who represented the West Indies from 1984 to 2001,captaining the West Indies in 22 Test matches. He is a fast bowler and considered one of the all-time greats,best known for a remarkable opening bowling partnership along with fellow West Indian Curtly Ambrose for several years. Walsh played 132 Tests and 205 ODIs for the West Indies and took 519 and 227 wickets respectively. He shared 421 Test wickets with Ambrose in 49 matches. He held the record of most Test wickets from 2000,after he broke the record of Kapil Dev. This record was later broken in 2004 by Shane Warne. He was the first bowler to reach 500 wickets in Test cricket. His autobiography is entitled "Heart of the Lion". Walsh was named one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1987. In October 2010,he was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. He was appointed as the Specialist Bowling Coach of Bangladesh Cricket Team in August 2016.

Richard Keith Illingworth is an English former cricketer,who is currently an umpire. The bulk of his domestic cricketing career was with Worcestershire,although he had a spell with Derbyshire,and overseas with Natal. He played in nine Tests and twenty-five ODIs for England,including participating in the 1992 and 1996 Cricket World Cups. He was a part of the English squad which finished as runners-up at the 1992 Cricket World Cup.
Carl Llewelyn Hooper is a former Guyanese cricketer who captained the West Indies in Tests and ODIs. An all-rounder,he was a right-handed batsman and off-spin bowler,who came to prominence in the late 1980s in a side that included such players as Gordon Greenidge,Desmond Haynes,Malcolm Marshall and Courtney Walsh and represented the West Indies over a 16-year international career.
Shahadat Hossain is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He made his Test debut in 2005 during Bangladesh's first tour of England. When he came onto the international scene he was cited by then coach Dav Whatmore as the fastest bowler in the team. The following year,Hossain made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Kenya. At times Hossain has struggled with conceding too many runs,and for that reason was dropped in 2009. In November 2010,Hossain was a member of the squad that won Bangladesh's first gold in any event at the Asian Games. A broken toe prevented Hossain from playing for Bangladesh in July 2011,but after more than a year since his last Test he returned to the squad in October that year. In November 2019,he was given a five-year ban from cricket,after assaulting a teammate. He made history being the first Bangladeshi to take a hat-trick in the ODI format.
Kemar Andre Jamal Roach is a Barbadian international cricketer who plays for the West Indies in Test and One Day Internationals. As a 5-foot-8-inch (1.73 m) pacer,Roach initially reached speeds of over 90 mph on regular occasions. After some time he adapted his bowling style,due to injuries and diminshed pace,to encourage augmented swing and movement of the ball. He triumphantly claimed the BBL02 title with the Brisbane Heat and was an essential part of the Surrey side which eventually won the 2022 County Championship title. During 2012 he became the first West Indies bowler to take 10 wickets in a Test since 2005. Roach has since picked up over 250 wickets in Tests and over 100 ODI wickets for the Windies. He has also featured for Barbados,Deccan Chargers,Worcestershire along with CPL teams Antigua Hawksbills,St Lucia Zouks and Jamaica Tallawahs in his cricketing career. Roach made history for the West Indies as he was the first West Indian bowler to take a hat-trick in a Cricket World Cup,which he did against the Netherlands during the 2011 tournament.
Mohammad Rubel Hossain is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He made his international debut in January 2009 aged 19. He has the highest bowling average of any pace bowler to have bowled at least 2,000 deliveries in Test cricket. He is a quick bowler with a slingy action similar to Lasith Malinga's. Hossain holds the record of the fastest bowled delivery (149.5kph) by a Bangladeshi cricketer. Hossain announced his retirement from Test cricket on 19 September 2022.
Shai Diego Hope is a Barbadian cricketer,who plays as a wicketkeeper/batsman for the West Indies cricket team. He is also the current ODI captain of the Windies. In June 2018,he was named the Men's Cricketer of the Year,Test Cricketer of the Year and the ODI Cricketer of the Year at the annual Cricket West Indies' Awards. The following year,he was named the CWI ODI Player of the Year. He is generally regarded as one of the best ODI batsmen in the contemporary cricketing world. Hope has also twice been named,for both 2020 and 2022,in the ICC ODI Team of the Year.
Ebadot Hossain Chowdhury,better known as simply Ebadot Hossain, nicknamed 'Sylhet Rocket' due to his speed and skill,is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He made his international debut for the Bangladesh cricket team in February 2019. He is also an active soldier of Bangladesh Air Force.
The Bangladesh cricket team toured the West Indies and the United States between June and August 2018 to play two Tests,three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The final two T20I matches took place at the Central Broward Regional Park,in Lauderhill,Florida. The second Test took place in Jamaica,fourteen years after Bangladesh last played a Test there. Bangladesh last toured the West Indies in September 2014.
The Australia cricket team toured Bangladesh in August and September 2017 to play two Test matches. It was Australia's first tour to Bangladesh since 2011. Bangladesh won the first Test by 20 runs,their first ever victory against Australia in a Test match. Following the win,Bangladesh's captain Mushfiqur Rahim said "It's a great feeling beating Australia,and I think it was a great effort by the boys". Australia's Steve Smith said "I think they're a dangerous side,particularly here at home". Australia won the second Test by 7 wickets,therefore drawing the series 1-1.

The Test series formed part of the inaugural 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship and the ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.
The Bangladesh cricket team toured the West Indies in June and July 2022 to play two Test,three One Day International (ODI),and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The Test matches formed part of the 2021–2023 ICC World Test Championship. A draft tour itinerary was announced in May 2022. The full details of the tour were confirmed on 1 June 2022.
The 2021 Bangladeshi cricket season is taking place from 20 January to 31 December 2021. A total of 29 international matches,including 4 Test,9 One Day International and 16 Twenty20 International matches are scheduled to take place in Bangladesh in 2021. 72 first-class,5 List A and 54 Twenty20 matches are also being held in this season. All the international matches will form part of the 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League,2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship,2021–2023 ICC World Test Championship and the preparation for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
