Shanghai Television is a TV station based in Shanghai, China. It was founded in 1958. Its old web site address was www.stv.sh.cn. In 2001, it was merged with Radio Shanghai, Eastern Radio Shanghai, Oriental Television Station and Shanghai Cable Television under the name of Shanghai Media Group. It broadcasts 258 hours of TV and 214 hours of radio on a daily basis (2005).

Shanghai Jiaotong Guangbo is a traffic radio station in Shanghai in the People's Republic of China, broadcasting at both 105.7 FM and 648 AM. The radio station is part of the Radio and Television Station of Shanghai, whose programmes are made by SMG Radio Centre.

Dong Fang Dushi Guangbo, whose full callsign is East City Radio of Shanghai People's Radio Station, also known as FM 899 Driving FM, is a city affairs radio station in Shanghai in the People's Republic of China, broadcasting at both 792 AM and 89.9 FM.

Shanghai Dragon Television or Dragon TV, commonly nicknamed the Tomato Channel (蕃茄台) based on its logo, is a provincial satellite TV station. It launched in October 1998 as "Shanghai Television" but changed its name to Dragon Television on October 23, 2003. Currently, Dragon TV's signal covers most of Mainland China and worldwide. From September 28, 2009, the channel used standard high-definition broadcast.

International Channel Shanghai, better known as ICS, is the foreign-language cable channel of Shanghai Media Group. Long before the parent company was known as SMG, Shanghai Television Station began producing the English-language News at Ten in 1986. On January 1, 2008, ICS replaced the Shanghai Broadcasting MusicChannel as a 24-hour English service. In 2010, the channel replaced its "Red Sun Seagull" logo from the old Oriental TV channel with the STV "Magnolia" logo. The channel's news department produces a Monday-through-Saturday news program Shanghai Live at 9:00pm, and the weekly business/financial news program Money Talks on Saturday nights. On December 8, 2011, the Asian Television Awards named Shanghai Live "Best News Programme" of 2011.

It consisted of original live-action host programs and several of Nickelodeon's flagship American shows, dubbed in Mandarin. It aired on multiple SMG channels, mainly their children's network, Oriental.
