Zschech is currently a contributing songwriter with CompassionArt, a charity founded by Christian songwriter Martin Smith. Along with her husband, Zschech is the lead pastor of Hope Unlimited Church in New South Wales.

In all versions, the song keeps a pensive worship style, but One Sonic Society's version is distinctive to the band's individual style. Their version reached No. 17 on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart, and No. 25 on the related Christian Adult Contemporary chart.

Many live concerts and events have been held in Christian churches in addition to traditional venues such as Lumination, Creation Festival and LifeLight Music Festival. CEDM has also been incorporated into some Christian worship routines.
