Ramana Gogula is an Indo-American entrepreneur, venture capitalist, music composer and singer of film music and Indian pop. [1] His notable film compositions include Premante Idera (1998), Thammudu (1999), Badri (2000), Johnny (2003), Lakshmi (2006), Annavaram (2006), Yogi (2007). [2] [3] He is known for his collaborations with Pawan Kalyan with whom he worked for four films.
He is currently the Vice President, Clean Technology Innovation at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc and a venture partner at Anthill Ventures. [1]
In 1996, his band Misty Rhythms released the Indie Pop studio album Aye Laila along with a music video which became a chart buster on major music channels MTV and Channel [V] in India. [4] He then ventured into Telugu cinema and composed songs and background score for around 25 films predominantly in Telugu with a few films in Kannada and Tamil languages.
As an entrepreneur, Ramana Gogula founded startups like Liqwid Krystal in the education sector, and Earthen Glow that provides off-grid solar lighting to villages. He is also the Vice President, Clean Technology Innovation at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc and a venture partner at Anthill Ventures. The film is a remake of Tamil film Thirupaachi (2005). The film released on 29 December 2006. It was an average grosser at the box-office. It also marked Asin's last Telugu film, to date.
Premante Idera is 1998 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film directed by Jayanth C. Paranjee, and produced by Burugupalli Siva Rama Krishna and K. Ashok Kumar under the Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Art Films banner. The film stars Venkatesh and Preity Zinta, with music composed by Ramana Gogula, in his first composition.
Yogi is a 2007 Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by V. V. Vinayak, starring Prabhas, Nayanthara and Sharada. It also features Ali, Subbaraju, Pradeep Rawat and Kota Srinivasa Rao in the supporting roles. Ramana Gogula composed the music for V. V. Vinayak's earlier hit Lakshmi, also composed music for this film. Songs were shot in Canada, Egypt, and Malaysia. This film is a remake of the 2005 Kannada blockbuster film Jogi by Prem. The film was released on 12 January 2007.

Kushi is a 2001 Indian Telugu-language romantic comedy film written and directed by S. J. Suryah, and produced by A. M. Rathnam. The film stars Pawan Kalyan and Bhumika. Mani Sharma provided the score and soundtrack. Pawan Kalyan also choreographed all the action sequences in the film. Initially begun in 1999 as a bilingual along with its Tamil version, also titled Kushi (2000), the Telugu version was delayed due to Kalyan's prior commitment to Badri (2000).

Mirchi Music Awards South is the South Indian segment of the annual Mirchi Music Awards, presented by Radio Mirchi to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the South Indian music industry. The awards are separately given for Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films. The awards were first given out in 2010 for the best of 2009 and the ceremony was held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium on 17 July 2010.The print partner was The Times of India.
