Passu Glacier is situated in the south side of Passu village, in Karakoram Range in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. [1] Passu Peak is situated behind the glacier. This glacier is linked with Batura Glacier and many other glaciers in Batura Muztagh mountain range.

Gilgit-Baltistan is an administrative territory of Pakistan in the northern part of the country. It was given self-governing status on August 29, 2009. Gilgit-Baltistan comprises 14 districts within three divisions. The four districts of Skardu Kharmang Shigar and Ghanche are in the Baltistan Division, four districts of Gilgit Ghizer Hunza and Nagar districts which were carved out of Gilgit District are in the Gilgit Division and the third division is Diamir, comprising Chilas and Astore. Batura Glacier, 57 km (35 mi) long, is one of the largest and longest glaciers outside of the polar regions. It lies in the upper Hunza (Gojal) region of Hunza District, in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. It is just north of the massifs of Batura, at 7,795 metres (25,574 ft), and Passu, at 7,500 metres (24,600 ft). The glacier flows west to east. The lower portions can be described as a grey sea of rocks and gravelly moraine, bordered by a few summer villages and pastures with herds of sheep, goats, cows and yaks and where roses and juniper trees are common.

Batura II, also known as Hunza Kunji or Peak 31, is a 7,762-metre-high (25,466 ft) peak in the Batura Muztagh, which is the westernmost subrange of the Karakoram range. It was first ascended in 2008 by a South Korean duo from the University of Seoul Alpine Club consisting of Kim Chang-ho and Choi Suk-mun.

Batura III, also known as Batura Muztagh III, is a 7,729-metre-high (25,358 ft) peak in Batura Muztagh, Pakistan, which is the westernmost subrange of the Karakoram range.

Kuksar is a 6,943 metre (21,302 ft) peak in the Karakoram range of the Himalayas in northern Pakistan. It lies at the head of the Batura glacier, the nearest town being Pasu, on the Karakoram Highway. Along with Kuksar Main peak are Kuksar North and Kuksar South.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Muchu Chhish</span> Mountain in the Karakoram

Muchu Chhish is a mountain in the Batura Muztagh sub-range of the Karakoram in Hunza Valley, in northern areas of Pakistan. Located in a very remote and inaccessible region, only a handful of attempts have been made to reach the summit. Muchu Chhish was one of the tallest unclimbed mountains on Earth, until its successful summit in 2024. The peak has a modest prominence however, rising only 263 m (863 ft) above the nearest col or pass. The Batura Glacier, one of the longest outside the polar regions, flanks Muchu Chhish to the north.
