22+23 innings pitched. [6] He split the 2022 campaign between Quad Cities and the Double–A Northwest Arkansas Naturals. In 17 starts split between the two affiliates, he struggled to an 0–7 record and 6.91 ERA with 64 strikeouts across 70+13 innings of work. [7]

Murdock returned to Northwest Arkansas in 2023, making 36 appearances and logging a 5.87 ERA with 77 strikeouts over 69 innings pitched. [8] In 2024, he split time between Northwest Arkansas and the Triple–A Omaha Storm Chasers. In 46 combined appearances out of the bullpen, Murdock accumulated a 3.16 ERA with 72 strikeouts across 62+23 innings. [9]

Athletics

On December 11, 2024, the Athletics selected Murdock from the Royals in the Rule 5 draft. [10]
