Duronto TV is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language satellite and cable children's television channel, and the first of its kind in the country. It was initially licensed in 2013 as "Renaissance TV", but was later renamed to its current name. The channel began test broadcasts on 5 October 2017, and later commenced official broadcasts ten days later on 15 October 2017.

August 1975 is 2021 Bangladeshi political drama film based on the immediate aftermath of assassination of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The film is produced by Selim Khan whose production company operates as Shapla Media International Ltd. Afsaruddin Bhuiyan, Kazi Mizanur Rahman and Nasuir Uddin also join the film as executive producers. Selim Khan directed the movie alongside Shamim Ahamed Roni. Masuma Rahman Nabila, Tauquir Ahmed and Shahiduzzaman Selim have been cast in various leading roles. The film portrays history of the killing of Rahman on 15 August, till his burial on 16 August. Principal photography of this film begun on 10 July and ended on 29 July 2020. The film was released on Cinebaj on 15 August 2021, the National Mourning Day in Bangladesh.

Sadia Andalib Nabila is a Bangladeshi Australian actress and model widely known as Sadia Nabila. She is known for her Bollywood debut in Pareshaan Parinda and Bangladeshi film Mission Extreme alongside Arifin Shuvoo. Mission Extreme is the sequel to one of Bangladesh's highest-grossing films Dhaka Attack (2017). She was nominated for the Best New Actress category of the Meril-Prothom Alo Awards in 2021, for her Bangladeshi debut.

Leader: Amie Bangladesh is a 2023 Bangladeshi political thriller film. The directed by Topu Khan and produced by Syed Ashik Rahman under the banner of Bengal Multimedia. It revolves around Nafees Iqbal, a conscious young man embarked on a transformative journey to rid society of corruption and the misuse of political power, featuring Shabnom Bubly, Misha Sawdagor, Shahiduzzaman Selim in the lead roles. It is the last film of Shakib Khan and Shabnom Bubly as a Duo.
