Indonesian Idol is an Indonesian reality television singing competition created by Simon Fuller and produced by RCTI Production Team and FremantleMedia Asia. The show began airing on RCTI in March 2004 and became one of the most popular shows in the history of Indonesian television. Part of the Idol franchise, it was as a spin-off from the UK show Pop Idol.

MTV is an Indian pay television channel specialising in music, reality and youth culture programming. It was launched in 1996 as the Indian version of the original American network and is owned by Reliance Industries, under a license agreement with Paramount Networks EMEAA and operated by Disney Star. Most of the programming on the channel is produced in Hindi. MTV India has its headquarters in Vile Parle in Mumbai.

Raghu Ram is an Indian television producer and actor. He was a senior supervising producer at MTV India and an anchor/ director on MTV Roadies, MTV Dropout Pvt Ltd and MTV Splitsvilla. He was married to actress Sugandha Garg. He has a twin brother, Rajiv Lakshman who worked with him on MTV Roadies. The brothers launched their own content studio called Monozygotic Solutions Pvt. Ltd in 2014.

Thomas Godoj is a Polish-German rock-pop singer and songwriter. He was the winner of the fifth season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar (2008), the German version of Pop Idol.

MTV Roadies is an Indian reality television series. It was launched on 15 August 2003 and airs on MTV India. The show is digitally available on JioCinema.

Dance India Dance is an Indian Hindi-language dance competition reality television series that airs on Zee TV, created and produced by Essel Vision Productions. It premiered on 30 January 2009. Here the judges are called Masters and Mithun Chakraborty was called Grand Master . Season 7 premiered with a different concept. This show is a remake of Bengali show Dance Bangla Dance which premiered on 2007. After 3 successful seasons of Dance Bangla Dance, Zee TV remade this show for all-over Indian participants.

The show aired on Colors TV until season 8. Since season 9 the show is airing on Sony Entertainment Television.

Rannvijay Singha is an Indian film actor, television personality, host, and VJ. He is known for his role in MTV Roadies. He was a part of the show from 2004 to 2020, earlier as a gang leader and then as a host. He was also a part of the auditions judging panel from season 8 to season 18 and a gang leader.

Nikhil Chinapa is an Indian DJ, host and festival curator, often credited with popularizing EDM among the youth in India. He has been associated with MTV India since the late 1990s and has appeared in multiple television shows including Roadies and Splitsvilla. He has been instrumental in popularizing DJing as a profession and leading the music scene at the Sunburn Festival in its early years.

Dancee Plus is an Indian Telugu-language dance competition reality television series, which premiered on 27 December 2020 and broadcast on Star Maa. The series is produced by OAK Entertainments house. The auditions for the show were carried throughout in India, between 1 November 2020 and 30 November 2020.
