MHS Aviation GmbH is a German charter airline headquartered in Oberhaching, Bavaria. MHS Aviation is based at nearby Munich Airport, Special Airport Oberpfaffenhofen as well as Mannheim City Airport. [1] [2] [3] The company specializes in aircraft charter, aircraft management, aircraft lease and VIP service. [1] It currently operates a fleet of 20 charter aircraft. The majority of the fleet consists of business aircraft. In addition, one Dornier 328 aircraft was operated for the now defunct Rhein-Neckar Air on a scheduled domestic service.

History

The company was founded as Munich Helicopter Service (MHS) in 1977.

After the purchase of the airline by the entrepreneur Gerhard Brandecker in 2009, the airline put a focus on adding business jets to its fleet. MHS Aviation has been in business for more than 40 years and has developed into one of the largest executive charter operators in Germany. In October 2019 MHS Aviation took delivery of Europe's first Embraer Praetor 600. [4]

As of November 2019, the MHS Aviation fleet consists of the following aircraft. [7] [8] Currently the fleet consists of 18 aircraft ranging from ultra-long range to turbo prop aircraft. Since June 2017 MHS Aviation operates two Dassault Falcon 2000LX by the French aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation. [9]

Its main bases and hubs were Saarbrücken Airport and Mannheim City Airport. The company slogan was connecting business.

Privatair SA was a Swiss airline headquartered in Meyrin, which operated business jets as well as scheduled services on behalf of major airlines. In addition the company operated crew and pilot training facilities. PrivatAir SA was a registered air carrier with two air operator's certificates, in Switzerland and through its subsidiary PrivatAir GmbH in Germany. On 5 December 2018, PrivatAir filed for insolvency and ceased operations.

China Xinhua Airlines was an airline based in Chaoyang District, Beijing, China. It operated scheduled trunk services and charter flights. Its main bases were Beijing Capital International Airport and Tianjin Binhai International Airport. On November 29, 2007, it merged with Shanxi Airlines and Chang An Airlines to form Grand China Air, a subsidiary of Hainan Airlines.

The Dassault Falcon 7X is a large-cabin, 5,950-nautical-mile [nmi] range business jet manufactured by Dassault Aviation, the second largest of its Dassault Falcon line. Unveiled at the 2001 Paris Air Show, its first flight took place on 5 May 2005 and it entered service on 15 June 2007. The Falcon 8X, first delivered on 5 October 2016, is derived from the 7X and has an extended range of 6,450 nmi made possible through engine optimization, aerodynamic refinements as well as an increase in fuel capacity. Featuring an S-duct central engine, the 7X, 8X and the Falcon 900 are the only trijets still in production, as of 2024.

The Dornier 328 is a turboprop-powered regional airliner. Initially produced by Dornier Luftfahrt GmbH, the firm was acquired in 1996 by Fairchild Aircraft. The resulting firm, named Fairchild-Dornier, manufactured the 328 family in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany, conducted sales from San Antonio, Texas, United States, and supported the product line from both locations.
