Leonard Dunlap (born June 25, 1949) is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL) in the 1970s. He attended the University of North Texas and was selected by the Baltimore Colts in the 1971 NFL draft. [1]
The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league that consists of 32 teams, divided equally between the American Football Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC). Frederick Douglass "Fritz" Pollard was an American professional football player and coach. In 1921, he became the first African-American head coach in the National Football League (NFL). Pollard and Bobby Marshall were the first two African-American players in the NFL in 1920. Football pioneer Walter Camp called Pollard "one of the greatest runners these eyes have ever seen."

He also coached basketball and baseball at North Dakota and basketball at Allegheny.

This results in efforts by the player to prompt a trade or release from the team. Bengalized can also refer to a Cincinnati Bengals fan who becomes frustrated after years of futility in losing seasons and/or playoff losses, ultimately ending their support for the franchise.

He played college football for the Cincinnati Bearcats and was selected fourth overall by the Jets in the 2022 NFL draft. Gardner was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year and was the first rookie cornerback since Ronnie Lott in 1981 to be named first-team All-Pro.
