Jake Bollman (born April 22, 2007) is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 88 Ford for Naake Klauer Motorsports. [1]

Racing career

Bollman would start racing competitively in 2016, where he would compete in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series in the J-1 and J-2 Kart classes, where he would win several races. [2] It was also in this series where he would win the championship in 2018. [2] In the following year, he would race in the 51-FIFTY Jr. Late Model Series at Madera Speedway for Naake-Klauer Motorsports, where he would finish fourth in the points standings in his rookie season. [2]

In 2020, Bollman would run two races in the Rocky Mountain Legend Racing Association Series, getting a best finish of seventh on his debut at Colorado National Speedway. [3] For the following year, he would join Rackley WAR in its late-model program at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. [4] He would also run in select events in the SRL Spears Pro Late Model Series, where he would finish tenth in the points with four top ten finishes. [3] Bollman would be retained by Rackley WAR in 2022 for the full Pro Late Model season. [5] It was during this year that he would get his first win in the series in the season finale, after Jackson Boone and Cole Williams collided during a late race restart with three laps to go. [6]

In 2023, it was announced that Bollman would run a partial schedule for High Point Racing in the ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 55 Ford, beginning at the first Irwindale Speedway event, [7] where he would finish twelfth due to being involved in a crash midway through the race. [8]

The race was held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, in Monroe, Washington at Evergreen Speedway, a 0.656 mile permanent oval-shaped short track. The race took the scheduled 150 laps to complete. After a late race caution, Tanner Reif, driving for Sunrise Ford Racing, took the lead away from Cole Moore, and held off teammate Jake Drew for his second career ARCA Menards Series West win, and his second of the season. To fill out the podium, Joey Iest, driving for Naake-Klauer Motorsports, would finish 3rd, respectively.
