The People's Reform Party is a political party in the Philippines. Founded on April 12, 1991, as the political party of former Agrarian Reform Secretary Miriam Defensor Santiago for her bid as president in the 1992 Presidential Elections. During the 1992 Elections, the party nominated Santiago as president and Ramon "Jun" Magsaysay, Jr. as vice president, however both Santiago and Magsaysay lost the elections to former Defense Secretary Fidel Ramos and then-Senator Joseph Estrada, respectively. The Force of Reform Philippines (FORPH) serves as the official youth-wing of the People's Reform Party. While under the same Miriam Defensor Santiago wing, the Youth Reform Movement is not related to the PRP.

The Nacionalista Party is a political party in the Philippines and the oldest in the country and in Southeast Asia. It is responsible for leading the country throughout most of the 20th century since its founding in 1907; it was the ruling party from 1935 to 1946, 1953–1961 and 1965–1978.

Formed in 2018 by Sara Duterte, the party was established in support of President Rodrigo Duterte's administration, and was the administration electoral alliance for the 2019 Philippine general election.

Aggrupation of Parties for Prosperity, commonly known as APP and formerly known as Aggrupation of Parties for Progress, is a local political party in the region of Zamboanga Peninsula in the Philippines. It is a political party founded by Romeo Jalosjos Sr. as the Alliance of Parties for Progress based in the province of Zamboanga del Norte.

Davao City's 1st congressional district is one of the three congressional districts of the Philippines in Davao City. It has been represented in the House of Representatives since 1987. The district covers the city's poblacion or downtown commercial core composed of 40 barangays and Talomo district that borders it to the west which consists of 14 barangays. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Paolo Duterte of the National Unity Party (NUP), Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP), and Hugpong sa Tawong Lungsod (HTL).

Sebastian "Baste" Zimmerman Duterte is a Filipino politician serving as Mayor of Davao City since June 30, 2022. He previously served as the city's vice mayor from 2019 to 2022. He is the youngest son of 16th president Rodrigo Duterte from former wife Elizabeth Zimmerman, and the younger brother of vice president Sara Duterte.
